OLGA SELIVANOVA
Graduated from the higher education institution.
Since 1991, she has been involved in Japanese art studies (ikebana, suibokuga ink painting).
Student of Ms. Midori Yamada, she has become cher maître in the genre of Japanese suibokuga ink painting. Co-leader of "Nihon-no bi - Japanese Beauty" project and “Sakura-Kai” group, an art teacher of ink painting.
Olga has had the author stamp since 2008.
Since 2009, she has been a member of All Japan Suibokuga-Art Association, Tokyo, Japan.
2010 She won "Best Artwork Award" at the 35th Exhibition All Japan Sumi-e Art Exhibition in Tokyo "500 best works of suibokuga" in Tokyo National Art Center.
2011 “Kyoto Shinbun Prize" at the annual All Japan Sumi-e Art Exhibition in Tokyo.
2012 “Award for Outstanding Work” at the 39th All Japan Sumi-e Art Exhibition in Tokyo.
2012 Participated in “Flowers and Painting” exhibition held in Art Academy Museum (St. Petersburg), 15 paintings.
2013 “Award for Outstanding Work” Honorary Diploma of Takahashi publishing house at the 41st All Japan Sumi-e Art Exhibition in Tokyo.
“Ink Art Themes” Exhibition in Chertanovo Art Gallery (Moscow Department of Culture).
2014 "Best Artwork Award" at the 6th All Japan Sumi-e Art Exhibition of Monochrome Painting in Kyoto, Haiku Art and Painting of Bunjinga (South China school) in the Museum of Kyoto.

秀青 SHU SEI – “Smart, talented, blue”
Olga pursues a career in teaching; she facilitates demonstrations and gives master classes in Russian cities and towns as well as in Armenia. She has prepared a sketch series for “Kappa” statue in St. Petersburg State Botanical Garden. Olga widely participates in exhibition activities. Facilitates “Nihon-no bi” project exhibitions.
She participates in many editorial projects of Shusaku-sa publishing house (Japan), illustrated “On Northern Trails. Bashō Diaries” book written by Midori Yamada, facilitated and published five “Midori Yamada Calligraphy with Students’ Artworks” calendars, these artworks were used to design Gradostroitelstvo (Urban Planning) #4 (32), 2014 magazine cover.
As per request by the Embassy of Japan, she painted Gokayama picture and donated it to M. Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature as an addition to the artwork collection dedicated to architecture of various countries.
Her paintings are held in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
